Gina & Percy The Penguin Who Has A Fedora Hat - Go on a 2nd Date to Egyptian Exhibit

Percy the Penguin and Gina the Giraffe had a wonderful time at the 3D movie about Egyptian pyramids and mummies. They learned a lot about the ancient civilization, and enjoyed the thrilling scenes of adventure and discovery. They also shared some popcorn and candy, and cuddled in their seats.

After the movie, they decided to go on a 2nd date and visit the Egyptian exhibit at the zoo museum.

A few days later they meet again. They now wanted to see some real artifacts and replicas of the pyramids. They walked hand in hand, admiring the displays and reading the captions.

They saw a model of the Great Pyramid of Giza, the largest and oldest of the pyramids. They learned that it was built as a tomb for the pharaoh Khufu, and that it took about 20 years and 2.3 million blocks of stone to complete.

They saw a sarcophagus, a stone coffin that contained the mummy of the deceased. They learned that the Egyptians believed in the afterlife, and that they preserved the bodies of the dead with a process called mummification. They also placed various objects and treasures in the tomb, to accompany the soul of the dead in the next world.

They saw a statue of Anubis, the god of mummification and the afterlife. They learned that he had the head of a jackal and the body of a man, and that he was the one who weighed the hearts of the dead against a feather of truth. If the heart was lighter than the feather, the soul would enter the paradise of Osiris. If the heart was heavier than the feather, the soul would be devoured by a monster called Ammit.

They saw a papyrus scroll, a paper-like material made from the pith of the papyrus plant. They learned that the Egyptians used it to write and draw, using a system of symbols called hieroglyphs. They also learned that the scroll they were looking at was a copy of the Book of the Dead, a collection of spells and prayers that guided the dead through the underworld.

They saw a lot of other things, such as jewelry, pottery, masks, tools, and toys. They were amazed by the richness and diversity of the Egyptian culture, and by the skill and creativity of the people who made them.

They also had a lot of fun, making jokes and comments, and taking pictures of themselves with the exhibits. They felt a strong connection, and a growing attraction. They realized that they had a lot in common, and that they enjoyed each other's company.

They decided to end their date with a romantic dinner at the zoo cafeteria, where they shared a pizza and a salad. They talked about their lives, their dreams, and their feelings. They also made plans for their next date, which they hoped would be soon.

They kissed goodbye, and thanked each other for a lovely day. They agreed that it was the best date ever, and that they wanted to see each other again.

They walked away, smiling and happy, feeling like they had found their soulmate.
